Jimmy Dodd

Jimmy Dodd leads our Viasat Commercial Services segment encompassing Aviation, Enterprise, Energy, and Fixed Broadband businesses. Jimmy is responsible for driving the global strategy and execution across these businesses. He joined Viasat in 2020 and has continued to prove his ability to lead our customer-facing teams to success. His team is widely recognized for delivering the ‘best Wi-Fi in the sky’ to the world’s leading commercial airlines and private jets, connecting millions of IoT devices globally, bringing high-speed internet to rural homes, communities, and remote businesses.

Prior to Viasat, Jimmy held a number of senior-level management and engineering roles at The Boeing Company. He focused on complex international and Department of Defense programs, overseeing strategic planning, execution, engineering, and business development. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Arkansas State University and an MBA in Finance from Seattle University.
